Growing Empowered Together (GET) is a San Antonio-based non-profit that aims to increase the number of millennial voters and volunteers in Texas by presenting the inspirational words, songs, poetry, dance and other art of some of Texas’ most passionate young voters and community volunteers to their peers.
GET films young progressive community leaders and influencers as part of our GET REEL Film Series. We share those film clips through social media to get the conversations about voting and progressive issues going between young Texans.
GET is a progressive, but nonpartisan organization. We actively encourage discussions about progressive issues, voting and volunteerism without holding back, but can’t endorse or criticize political candidates or lobby for specific legislation.

GET is always looking for volunteers! We need graphic artists and animators, general help, researchers, set decorators, production assistants for filmmaking, web gurus, facebook page moderators, tweeters, blog posters and other writers, marketers, and more.
